Peggy Sez...

Oh my... I have always been fascinated with woodworking since I was a kid. My father was one of the best carpenters I believe I ever knew. I was his shadow.

I was a widowed single person for 26 years and have worked construction all my life, first as a laborer and the last years as a heavy equipment operator. Come March 7th my husband and I will celebrate 5 years together. Together we have 5 children who all have their own lives.

Presently I am semi-retired..working occasionally when I desire. I had a 4-wheeler wreck three years ago and what can I say when you have died and been given a reprieve it sure makes you rethink your life. I had always told my children I never want to lay on my deathbed and say I wish I had of tried that... Too make the long story short.. I had just sold my home before accident and while bed ridden hooked up to an epederal I asked my husband to go and find me all I needed for a woodshop.

Since then I have spent many hours in the shop...making flowers, benches, cutting boards...above the sink shelves,  towel racks, magazine racks, trash cans, laundry hampers....... I built a pergola out back in my gardens...Gardening is another passion of mine..

I got a new propane heater for Christmas from my husband and knew procrastinating on the insulation was over... Love NASCAR also so I went along the lines of Earnhardt colors... It is still a work in progress.

I have to run black pipe from my air compressor to my hubbys shop. and duct work..pvc for my dust collector.....

Hope you enjoy.. I am proud of it so far... I am actually quite a beginner to wood work and enjoy all you guys posts from sawdusters..read every one every day.. I am learning as I go..

Here are a few pics to let ya see...
